Outdoor Boys Camp Bread
INSPIRED BY OUTDOOR BOYS!!
No-mess campfire bread is perfect for the outdoors! Just mix everything in a bag, let it rise, and cook over the fire. Add Kai’s Italian Garlic & Parmesan Seasoning for extra flavour, or enjoy it honey butter
Ingredients:
- 3 cups self-raising flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1¼ cups warm water
- 1 tbsp Kai’s Italian Garlic & Parmesan Seasoning (optional but amazing)
Method:

Mix in a Bag – Add the flour, yeast, and Kai’s Italian Garlic & Parmesan Seasoning to a large zip lock bag. Pour in warm water, seal the bag, and knead from the outside until a dough forms. Let it rest for 30–60 minutes until puffy.

Shape & Cook:
- Stick Bread – Tear off small pieces, roll them into strips, and wrap around a clean stick. Roast over the fire, turning often, until golden.
- Pan Fry – Flatten pieces and cook in a lightly oiled pan over the fire, flipping until golden on both sides.
- Dutch Oven – Grease a Dutch oven, add the dough, cover, and bake with coals on top and bottom for 30–40 minutes.

Enjoy! – Eat warm with honey butter, dip in Kai’s Chilli Oil, sprinkle Kai’s Italian Garlic & Parmesan or drizzle with Kai's Hot Buzz for a sweet and spicy kick!
Tip: This dough is super forgiving—add extra flour if it’s sticky or more water if it’s dry. Perfect for a no-fuss, delicious campfire meal!
