Silence O' The Lambs - Grilled Lamb Chops
Juicy, perfectly seasoned lamb chops with a zesty yogurt sauce that’ll leave everyone speechless.
Ingredients:
For the Lamb Chops:
- 4 lamb chops
- Kai's Silence O’ The Lambs Seasoning - Measure with the heart!
- 2 tbsp olive oil (Kai's Garlic & Rosemary Infused Oil for an extra punch)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 30 x 30cm baking deep baking tray
For the Roasted Potatoes:
- 5 medium-large potatoes
- Kai's Silence O’ The Lambs Seasoning - Measure with the heart!
- 2 tbsp olive oil (Kai's Garlic & Rosemary Infused Oil for an extra punch)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Zesty Yogurt Sauce:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish:
- Fresh dill
- Lemon wedges
Instructions:

Prepare the Lamb Chops:
- Preheat oven to 180c fan forced.
- In a small bowl, mix Kai's Silence O’ Lambs Seasoning, olive oil, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the lamb chops, ensuring they’re well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the fridge for deeper flavor).

Prepare the potatoes
- Dice potatoes into 1cm cubes (for quicker cooking time).
- Place potatoes in baking tray and season well with Silence O' The Lambs seasoning, olive oil and salt & pepper. Mix well.
- Place marinated lamb chops in baking tray with your potatoes.
- Pop it in the oven - turning occasionally to brown on all sides, until lamb is cooked and potatoes are tender with crispy edges, about 45 minutes (adjust cooking time based on your preferred done-ness)

Make the Yogurt Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, minced garlic, fresh dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Serve:
- Arrange the lamb chops and roast potatoes on a fancy plate (or just a normal one), drizzle with the yogurt sauce, and garnish with fresh dill or mint.
